Based on the original painting “Kunta Kinte” created in 2015 of the same name. This artwork was inspired by Kendrick Lamar's 2015 track "King Kunta" which was a reference to the archetypal rebellious slave Kunta Kinte. Kendrick's vigor and lyrical delivery were the driving force that helped bring this work to fruition.
